Over the years, I've created numerous freehand drawings on 8 1/2 x 11 copier paper using a black ball-point pen. Unfortunately, these drawings haven't aged well due to the non-archival ink and lower quality paper. The black ink has started to fade, and the paper is losing its bright white appearance. Anticipating this, I quickly scanned the drawings and saved them in digital format. I then stored the originals in a binder with acid-free sleeves to help preserve them.
