Below are some of my pieces I've created in a span of 20 years. These were mostly created on my breaks at work on copier paper and were made with black ball-point pen, Sharpie and archival ink. I recently started using high quality color pencil and have been working on much bigger, frameable designs. A majority of my new artwork is on high quality acid-free Bristol board and made with archival ink and high-quality color pencil. These will be the pieces I hope to someday display at a gallery and sell.

Corporate Cut Backs

2001

In 2001 the company I worked for started laying off employees. As my friends and I awaited our fate, we watched those around us slowly disappear from their cubicles. This drawing popped into my head that week, so on break I put pen to paper. The mean corporate jester is cutting the controlled workers out as the shadow of past employees hangs in the distance. Corporate Cut Backs will always remind me of how lucky many of us are to have jobs.

Black Bic ballpoint pen (shading and textures)

India ink refillable pen (outlines and fills)

Eye-Full Tower

2003

On break at work, this piece popped into my head. When that happened, I grabbed a piece of copier paper and my pens, then started to draw. Some may wonder if I was starting to draw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is definitely possible, then filled it with eyes. Due to this, the only name that made sense was the Eye-Full Tower.
