My name is Brian Healey. I'm a self-taught freehand artist and have been drawing since I was two years old. I have a passion for freehand drawing and creating things. I've been a gamer since the '70s, with interests in science, horror/sci-fi, and heavy metal. I'm also fascinated by abandoned places and unusual, out-of-the-ordinary events and things. My work, often surreal and dark, is primarily done in black archival ink, though I'm now experimenting with color pencils. Some pieces are created exclusively with black ball-point pen. My art pops into my mind at random, but some pieces stem from stressful situations. I aspire to sell my original pieces and have them showcased in an art gallery someday. I have two wonderful kids and a huge supportive family who put up with my overactive imagination and crazy projects.
